Walking Reading Group


Join us for a circular guided walk starting from Hemel Hempstead library, along the River Gade and through the historic Old Town. As we walk we will discuss our chosen acclaimed book - The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce. Copies of the book are available to borrow from the library. Fun, free and informal - everyone welcome. Free coffee and cake back at the library after the walk.

Hemel Hempstead railway station is a 30-minute walk from the library. The bus station is located on Waterhouse Street, a five-minute walk away.
Directions:
From M1 Junction 8 follow signs for Town Centre, and from the Magic Roundabout take the Leighton Buzzard Road (A4146) exit, driving parallel to the town centre. Turn right at the mini roundabout into Combe Street, then right again into Waterhouse Street. At the next mini roundabout, turn right into the Water Gardens car park.
