Be a chorister for the afternoon

Children between the ages of 6 and 12 are invited to come and find out what it's like to ‘Be a Chorister for the Afternoon’. The free event gives children from any background, any religion or none, the chance to find out what it's like to sing in a vibrant choir before joining the church's choir for a short service at 5pm. Parents and other guests are warmly invited.

The afternoon will be very informal, will include afternoon tea, and is all about having fun, learning a new skill, meeting other children, and understanding what it’s like to sing in a choir – from learning to sing beautiful music to trying on choir robes, exploring the unseen parts of the church - including the tower - and enjoying the buzz of singing in harmony. No previous experience is required - just enthusiasm to try singing!
