Sample event image Award-winning stand-up, comic writer and cartoonist, Henry Paker is one of the most sought after comic brains in the UK.

Man Alive is a unique mixture of stand-up comedy and cartoons. Henry has created a totally original show, which blends razor-sharp observational stand-up with a hilarious and poignant story told in cartoons. You have never seen anything quite like this.

Woven through virtuoso stand-up routines about marriage, commuting and dark chocolate, Henry uses cartoons to tell the audience a fairy tale about a lonely man who lives in a house full of clocks in the middle of a forest. As the show twists and turns, the stand-up and the cartoons begin to overlap, finally coming together in a finale which is funny and touching.

Show length: Approximately 70 minutes.
