The End We Start From is a 2023 British survival film directed by Mahalia Belo and starring Jodie Comer, with Benedict Cumberbatch, Katherine Waterston and Mark Strong.

Protracted storms and heavy rain cause London to be flooded just as Woman goes into labour and is delivered of her newborn baby son Zeb. With incessant rain the flooding spreads to other low-lying areas of Britain, triggering a country-wide crisis with food supplies and accommodations for people displaced by the ecological disaster. The new mother embarks on a dangerous journey to find a safe refuge, all the while trying to protect her baby from the surrounding chaos.
