River of Light Lantern Parade

Join us on Saturday 14 March 2026, from 5pm to 7.30pm, in Hemel Hempstead town centre for the River of Light Lantern Parade.

River of Light is a community-led lantern procession celebrating the transition from winter into spring.

The event includes a programme of lantern-making workshops during February half term. Lanterns made in these workshops will be used in the procession.

River of Light is brought to you by Puddingstone Arts, in partnership with Dacorum Borough Council, and funded by the Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Parking is available in the Water Gardens Car Park and at Riverside Shopping Centre Car Park (charges apply):
