Sample event image On Friday 8 May, we will be hosting a commemorative event in partnership with the Hemel branch of the Royal British Legion to mark VE Day and honour the Second World War generation from across the UK and the Commonwealth.

The service will take place at Boxmoor War Memorial (HP1 1JR), beginning at 10.45am.

Local residents, veterans and members of the armed forces community are warmly invited to attend.
