Queen's visit to Berkhamsted

Her Majesty the Queen will be visiting Berkhamsted School and St Peter's Church.

Please note that crowd barriers in place on the day will be there for safety and security reasons. They do not guarantee that you will be able view the event from that area.

Some road closures will be necessary on this date which will affect access to the following roads by car;

High Street Berkhamsted, closed between the junctions of Victoria Road and Kings Road from 7am until 6pm Friday 6 May.

Church Lane, closed from 7am until 6pm Friday 6 May.

Castle Street, closed from 5.30am until 6pm Friday 6 May.

All parking bays within the road closure area will also be suspended from 4pm on Thursday 5 May.

Access for residents’ vehicles will be maintained until 9.15am then the road will be completely closed with no access to any vehicles until Her Majesty has left.
