This well-loved western musical starring Doris Day as the title character is the first in a new season of relaxed film screenings at The Old Town Hall.

Relaxed screenings are specially designed for senior citizens, dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s sufferers and their supporters. Each screening has an interval of 20 minutes, the lights are only slightly dimmed and sound is played at a lower level.

Calamity Jane explores an alleged romance between the Wild West heroine and Wild Bill Hickok (played by Howard Keel) in the American Old West.
