Sample event image An unexpected crash landing and a whole host of surprises - will the Explorer ever make it back home?
A delightful new marionette show performed by puppeteer, Lori Hopkins, (We’re Going On A Bear Hunt for Little Angel Theatre). After crash landing on an unusual island, the brave Explorer encounters wild beasts, rough seas and futuristic technologies. With original music by Birmingham’s Grandmaster Gareth, stunning visuals by designer Alle Dowska and a whole host of surprises, this performance will make imaginations soar. This is a rare treat to see a fabulous hand-carved string puppet live on stage. See The Explorer leap, swim, float into space and enjoy a rather bumpy elephant ride as she tries to find a way back home. She might need a little help along the way, too.

After the show, have all the secrets unlocked in a fun and interactive question and answer session, and even get a chance to meet The Explorer herself! Suitable for those aged three to eight.

There will be two shows on Saturday 25 March, 11am and 2.30pm.

Running time: 20 minutes, plus 20 minutes question and answer session.
