Armed Forces Day

Join us on Armed Forces Day as we celebrate the men and women who make up the armed forces community - from current serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets. This family-friendly day will feature a range of activities for all ages, including: - Film screenings - watch a selection of child-friendly Second World War-themed movies, such as Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang and The Railway Children Return - Military vehicles - Face painting, balloon modelling and other children's activities - Interactive entertainers, including stilt walkers and mini tanks - Local community/charity and food and drink stalls.
