The Mayor of Dacorum’s Boundary Walk 2026


Join Mayor Catherine McArevey for a special 10-day, 100km Boundary Walk celebrating Dacorum’s countryside and community spirit. The walk supports the Mayor’s Future Fund, which provides financial support to small local charities and community organisations. Daily Route Highlights: The Mayor will visit every parish in the borough, stopping at community hubs, places of worship, and local landmarks. Fri 13 Feb – Hemel Hempstead Mosque, DENS, finishing at The Rose & Crown, Trowley Bottom Sat 14 Feb – Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea Sun 15 Feb – Little Gaddesden Church, Ashridge House, Pendley Manor Mon 16 Feb – Pendley Court Theatre, Long Marston, Puttenham Church Tue 17 Feb – Tring Museum, The Greyhound (Wigginton) Wed 18 Feb – Hastoe, The Rex Cinema, Swan Youth Project, Berkhamsted Station Thu 19 Feb – Sunnyside Rural Trust, Fuzzy’s Farm Fri 20 Feb – Bovindgon WI, The Windmill (Chipperfield) Sat 21 Feb – Kings Langley Football Club, The Old Palace pub Sun 22 Feb – Kings Langley Churchyard, Leverstock Green Church, finishing at The Crabtree Get Involved: Community groups, schools, cadets, faith leaders, and local residents are invited to join the Mayor for individual stages of the route. Walk a day, a section, or the full distance—everyone is welcome. Support the Mayor’s Future Fund: All funds raised will support grassroots projects across Dacorum, including mental health support, youth initiatives, and activities for older residents.
