The 71st Pendley Shakespeare Festival: A Midsummer Night's Dream
The Pendley Shakespeare Festival returns this glorious summer, promising all the mirth, merriment, mischief and magic as ever with an all new production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream as you’ve never dreamed it before...
Come with us on a whimsical romp through the enchanted town of 'Tring'. Out in the woods, four lovers get tangled up in a web of deceit, forsaken love, and teenage angst.
Meanwhile, Bottom and a cast of amateur performers attempt to revive a local theatre troupe. But when Puck and the mystical spirits of the forest decide to intervene, chaos ensues, culminating in magic, mistaken identity and total mayhem.
Shakespeare’s most popular play revels in joy, mischief and the supernatural, cloaked in a mysterious dreamy haze, where everyone is trying to find their happy ending.
