Dacorum National Trust Association (DNTS) - monthly speaker meeting

Alison Wall - Plague Houses and Pandemics. The history of medical beliefs and the history of the plague. We will find out about the details of the start of a co-ordinated approach in 1665, under the Edict of Charles II. There will be descriptions of many pest/plague houses that have been demolished and those that are still standing. We will explore the comparison between the plague of 1665 and Covid 19 in 2020. We are a voluntary association founded in 1989 to promote and support the work of the National Trust.
